Bobby Charles is a terrific Louisiana song writer, arranger, and performer. He is a behind-the-scenes song
writer who made a splash with his records. Most notable are "Later, Alligator" and "Take It Easy Greasy,"
from the 1950s. These songs were Bobby's light-hearted pokes at other novelty songs of the
time.
