- Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown -- Born: Clarence Brown, April 18, 1924 - Vinton, Louisiana --
Died: September 11, 2005 - Baton Rouge, Louisiana from a long battle with lung cancer and heart
disease. After losing his home to Hurricane Katrina, and evacuating to Baton Rouge,
he became severely ill before dying.

He created regional hits and perforemd as a female impersonator. Due to complications from liver cancer, he
passed away at the reported age of 69 years.
- Roland Stone -- Born Roland Leblanc August 12, 1940 - New Orleans, LA -- Died: December 22, 1999 - New Orleans, LA.
He created a repetoire of regional hits, and due to complications from hernia surgery, he
passed away at the reported age of 59 years.
- Tommy Ridgley -- Born Thomas Herman Ridgley - October 30, 1925 - New Orleans, LA --
Died: August 11, 1999 - New Orleans, LA. He produced a string of regional hits
with his band, Tommy Ridgley and the Untouchables.
